About Me
It all started here. Circa 1980, my love of dogs began with my mother's Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Fancy, who really was a fancy show dog and earned her Championship title. Her show name, Champion Jalna's Veni, Vedi, Veci, meaning I Came, I Saw, I Conquered. My childhood memories are filled with back seat rides to dog club meets, stuffed in with a couple dogs, our own and usually one of my mom's fellow kennel club friends' collies. I would stroke their silky overly groomed show coats and fall in love! I would definitely have a collie for my own one day, I told myself, and sure enough, I did... never quite as groomed as those show collies, but nonetheless they're still such a gorgeous family breed:)
Over the years' I have loved several dogs and I'm now on a mission....
